Jane gets her own Christmas story

Not ready yet, but it’s in the works.

I have been working on the forthcoming Jane Rochester mystery, Recipient of Secrets, and it was always my intention to make this a fall/winter novel, which means Christmas, because I love Christmas. But I had a scene or two in mind that I wasn’t sure was going to make the cut, as far as actually making sense in the final story. So I’m trying to expand it into a stand alone Christmas story. It’s turning out a bit more light-hearted than the regular mystery tale, which, honestly, may not work. But also, seems more fitting for Christmas.

If all goes well, (hey, it could happen!), this story will be available before December is over. And I made the cover already, even though the story isn’t finished, because I have a slight obsession with covers. So, coming soon!

Jane has returned to Morton with Mr. Rochester and Adele, where they receive a seemingly innocent invitation to a Christmas party at Mr. Oliver’s. Once there, Jane is drawn into an unlikely puzzle involving a missing cash box, a dashing but unwanted helper, and the perfect dress for solving a mystery.

    • Hi Sarah! I’m glad you want to read it! It isn’t a very long story, (probably 5-7 pages in print) so I was only planning to make an electronic version available. I actually don’t have a Kindle either:) I downloaded Kindle for PC and sometimes read short things on my desktop. Here’s a link if you want to download it. https://www.amazon.com/Amazon-Digital-Services-LLC-Download/dp/B00UB76290
If you can’t find a way to read it once the story is available, leave another comment here, and I’ll find a way to get it to you:)
